I love this painting by Ginger Fox. Red velvet rope in the sky with exciting energy swirling around in the clouds is called "The Opening". The painting is inspired by film and art and is a play on words. The new life is ready to begin with the cracking of the egg, and it represents that man and nature can co-exist in meaningful ways. Art, music and film are reoccurring themes in Fox's work because they seem to be closely tied to man's more nobler pursuits.
The painting is 60 by 48 inches, and it is being shown at the Miller Gallery in Cincinnati.
